Mag Aso Falls & Mabinay Caves

The phenomenal Mag Aso falls near Kabankalan are a great one-day trip. In Mabinay, the tourism center offers guided tours to 5 caves. What a terrific excursion!

Nauhang's Mangrove River

Rent a Kayak or ask the local fishermen to paddle you up the beautiful mangrove river. The serene and pristine nature is breathtaking.

Holy Cross

Half-way up the mangrove river in Nauhang is the starting point for a little mountain trek up to the holy Cross where you will have a breathtaking view of the whole Sipalay region.

Old mining city Mina

It's a 30 min. ride by bus or tricycle up to the old copper mine city Mina. The mines were closed 1984 but you can still see the big Cansibit pit.

The City Tourism Office offers caving tours to some of the nearest caves of the region of Sipalay.


Hike on the paths in the back of Sugar Beach and get in touch with the cordial and cheerful Sipalaynons.

Malinab Lagoon

You can easily reach the Malinab "blue lagoon" by tricycle. It is beautifully nestled in the lush rice fields. Bring your swimwear and some picnic with you and have fun.

Don't miss Sipalay's Monday morning market. It's a must for everyone who likes colorful, busy markets.

Campomanes Bay

A beautiful tricycle trip to Campomanes Bay. Bring your swimwear and snorkeling gear with you. You can also rent transparent Kayaks or stand up paddle boards (SUP).

Danjugan Island

The sanctuary island Danjugan is known for its beauty under water as well as on land. Visit the bat cave and the colorful giant clams.

White Beach

You can reach Punta Ballo white beach on foot or by tricycle. Visit the various resorts there, snorkel over the house reef and enjoy the powdery white sand.

Archery Asia

A great highlight is the exiting 3D Archery course in the middle of the jungle.
