We had the Bongo Bongo room on the beach front. So we literally stepped out of our front door directly onto the beach. The room is fantastically wacky as is the decor in the whole resort but that is part of its uniqueness and charm! There is really nothing to dislike at all. The sunsets are magical and on our last night we were treated to a glorious sunset opposed by a fantastic rainbow! If you are craving tranquility then this is the place to be! The complete opposite of Borocay!

We stayed in the jungle themed Bongo Bongo. There was a life-size native on the porch, a tiger head above the bed and a huge elephant head greeting us as we walked in. It’s the tiny decorative details which are present throughout the hotel that make this place so special.

“Bongo Bongo is fronting the beach, very quiet, with everything you need inside, from air-con to warm water and TV, a nice private terrace”. When you go to your bedroom you are just blown away by the unique creativity of art work. Everything makes this place soooooo soulful. You feel instantly home, no kidding. I took like 100 pictures of all the very unique details of the room.
